Annie specializes in working with people who desire greater inner peace and who seek the life filled with purpose and joy that they’ve been yearning for.
She teaches her clients how to experience greater inner peace, joy, confidence, and self-esteem, and how to achieve greater success in all areas of your life, by connecting with your heart and inner wisdom – the parts of you that know the next right step for you. Her clients are able to leave behind worry and second-guessing themselves and live with spontaneity and joy.
Annie has utilized coaching to speed her own development from being extremely shy to living her dream of speaking, teaching, and writing to help others create the soulful lives they’ve been dreaming of.
Annie is a certified life coach, writer and professional workshop facilitator. She currently teaches Step Into the Life of Your Dreams and Sensitive and Stressed to Calm and Confident.
She also teaches Essentials For The Life Of Your Dreams, a step-by-step coaching program for individuals, that teaches her clients how to easily experience greater peace of mind, happiness, and self-esteem; while also having more quality time in their lives for themselves and their loved ones.
Annie is a certified life coach and completed a two-year training with Debbie Ford at the Ford Institute for Integrative Coaching at JFK University. As part of her training Annie was coached herself so she knows, first-hand, the joys and benefits of participating in coaching.
Before discovering coaching, she earned a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and worked as a grief counselor. While in school, she participated in a professional solutions-focused therapy study group. She later completed a two-year training in Hakomi Therapy, a present-focused method that honors the mind/body/spirit connection.
Annie enjoys creating and experiencing a rich and peaceful spiritual life each day, and being in the natural world as often as she can. She particularly loves writing, reading, swimming, sea kayaking on the Great Lakes and inland lakes, forest hiking and skiing, camping, traveling, and listening to world music. Annie lives in Michigan with her husband, Leigh. They enjoy the outdoors all year round. For part of 2010-11 she will be enjoying living in Boulder, Colorado.
